Look what I found! I’ve seen signs in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida, but no gators. That is, until I visited New Smyrna and my friends took me to Merritt Island Wild Life Refuge. I have now been through four Border Patrol stations. They don’t do much besides ask if I’m a US citizen, let the dog sniff sometimes, or just wave me through.
