So, this is what happens when you travel a bunch, sitting on your butt too much, and get out of your regular workout routine

Yes, that’s my hand on her butt.
Shyla got her birthday box!!! She must think I’m a goofball, but I couldn’t resist treating her like a kid one more time. We facetimed while she opened everything – it was fun and she looks fantastic!!
Not a lot has happened since I last wrote. I’m still here in the Dallas area, and it’s been kinda nice being domestic for a little while. I did run into some SOBers again

And Geena is going to the AVP finals tomorrow! woo hoo! Go Sand Diego Smash!

Oh, and I now have trailer brakes on my car and my battery is fixed!!!! If anyone was worried, I’m even more safe now.
Other than the above, I’ve been spending my free time eating, celebrating (Happy Birthday Robert!) and checking out neighborhoods. Why? Well here are a few reasons I would consider moving to Texas

Good friends who can get a little nutty

Great dancers

And just overall good people. I’ve met so many more but I’m just not very good at pictures.
It’s Friday. There will be more dancing tomorrow and the Annual Chili Cookoff on Sunday. Elaine made me make a chili. I have zero plans to win, but I’ll let you know.
I’ll be leaving on Monday to set out on more adventures. You’ll hear from me soon!
Tip of the day: When you do something like this – drop out of your normal life and hit the road – you find out that there really are people who care about you. Make sure to keep in touch with them! I promise to do better.
